I've been very curious since buying my first E-85 vehicle, whether it was more efficient to run the E-85 or Unleaded. With gas prices rising the way that they are, it's crucial to know the price per mile to determine which one is the better buy. After talking to a number of people about this, and hearing that they'd all like to see that calculator, I thought I'd better build it. Of course the environmental effects could also be a deciding factor. The sample data is similar to what I see with my 2003 Chevy Tahoe for in town driving. My mileage is about 3 mpg better on the highway.
